A proud Chicagoan who prefers a chardog with neon relish over a steamed hot dog any day, Carleigh returned to the Midwest after five years at CBS in New York City and San Francisco. As Director at Chowhound, Carleigh oversaw content strategy, brand extensions, video, and lifestyle content for CBS properties.
Before joining the Chowhound team back in 2014, she was the Director of Content for Chef Michael Mina’s digital group -- managing their test kitchen, editorial team, and producing daily cooking videos.
After spending time in San Francisco as a restaurant consultant, followed by a stint as a Cheesemonger for Cowgirl Creamery -- Carleigh was the Executive Editor of an industry food magazine that focused on culinary trends; worked with Chicago Magazine's dining editor, and spent time as a food buyer for Williams-Sonoma’s corporate team.
